“Toppenish High School students watch as fire and police crews work the scene of mock crash Wednesday at the school. The simulated multiple-injury and fatality accident was intended to show students the consequences of driving under the influence as well as distracted driving. The drill included Toppenish fire and police, Yakima County Sheriff, Washington State Patrol, AMR ambulance crews, Phoenix Protective Corp. security and even a Northwest MedStar helicopter. The event was coordinated by Phoenix.”
